Get to know me
Colleagues, family, and close friends would describe me as a warm, charismatic, deeply-motivated, and imaginative individual. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling abroad, creative writing, gardening, thrifting, and spending time with my three feline companions: Emerald, Isis, and Galadriel!
I am two-time alumnus of the University of Maryland-College Park, where I received my B.A in Sociology (2016) and M.A. in American Studies (2021). In addition to being the CEO and Creative Director of Celestial Grace Events, I am an interdisciplinary poet-scholar, member of a poetry collective, and currently manage special events in higher education.
Three things keep me motivated: my faith, my zest for life and those within it, and my desire to serve others through intentionality, creativity, positivity, and strategy. The ability to plan, coordinate, and manage multiple events takes self-discipline, an attention to detail, and the ability to multitask—a skillset I have mastered.

how it started
Celestial Grace Events was founded out of a desire to educate and equip YOU with the tools and insight necessary to make educated decisions in the process of navigating your event experience. As we journey together to create and design an occasion that exemplifies your vision and goals, we will share moments of laughter and joy, and we will mitigate moments of stress and worry, together.
With over 10 years of experience managing, planning, and coordinating special events, I serve with grace and grit (and a pinch of quirkiness) to support you in unique ways that are consistent and tangible. My experienced tenure of service in event management brings a level of insight, agility, and cultural competency that enables me to create memorable, lasting, and unforgettable occasions for all those I have worked with.
